“Grace for Life!” Eph. 4:29. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. (allergies ) maybe next week. In this scripture Paul is reminding us to speak what is necessary to help others grow in their spiritual walk. Is it necessary to tell some hard truths…yes it is; but it’s through those hard truths grace is extended. Truth is one of the hardest things to tell. Just this week I was challenged with tellingthe truth about my feelings or holding those thoughts to myself. I decided to tell the truth about my feeling regardless of the outcome. It's important to always consider your motives and to do things with love. God reminds us that we will have to give an account for every idle word spoken. Idle meaning, words that do not edify God or help to empower people. Today’s strength-let your necessary words bring awareness and change to the person who hears it as they grow in Grace/Life.
