This blog was created to educate, empower, and equip you on how to live a whole life by finding peace within. My motto is "Smile Everyday, Show-up Everyday, Succeed Everyday". When you've taken time to get in touch with who you are spiritually, you'll be able to deal with everything that's thrown your way. I've learned how to stay centered through meditation and spending time with the Lord. I pray you'll find the same peace I have within.
Today we will focus on the inner and outer thighs. This is another big muscle that is hard to tone. Anything big is hard to control, so you have to work hard at it. This movement is pretty simple. I'm sure we've all seen Sumo Wrestlers...if not google it. :). This movement will get those thighs to burning and with consistency and discipline, you'll begin to see your legs getting stronger and stronger. Incorporate this movement into your workout this week, Monday and Friday.
Stay tune for my "Abs are made in the kitchen" video - coming real soon. Crunches don't make abs.... the kitchen does.
Make it a great Monday and remember to
Find Peace Within
Now, it's time to focus on toning those legs. I am not the one who wears shorts, however, I do like to have nice toned legs. Here is one of my favorite moves for legs as well as for the obliques. It's called the One Leg Lift. Really simple. You will need some type of resistance, either a medicine ball or a light weight, maybe 5 to 8 pounds. Either way, make sure you perform the exercise correctly for optimum results. And as always, it takes more than exercise to get fit, you also have to eat right..... stay tune for Abs in the kitchen.... coming to help you get it right for life.

It's 2015 and I'm sure some of us are still dealing with some fears that we had in 2014. It maybe the fear of losing a love one, the fear of losing a job, the fear of finding out something is wrong with your health. What ever the fear maybe, some of us still have fear. I'm not saying that I'm not afraid of something. Somethings I'm just not going to do that may cause me to be fearful. I play it safe and avoid those things that may cause me to be fearful. However, I've learned a different way to look at FEAR. It would be easy for me to just write it out in this weeks blog, but I want. :). You'll have to watch my video blog to find out how I look at fear and what I do to combat it.
This week, we've been through some changes on my job, new leadership is always stressful because you don't know if they are going to come in and try and make changes that somehow may impact you. Some on the job are even FEARFUL the leader may change things that's not in our favor. But you know, for me, I'm not fearful, nor am I concerned. WHY because I face FEAR in a more positive way.
First of all I'm not going to worry about anything I have no control over and I want be worrying about something that hasn't happened yet or may not even happen.
This weeks lesson: FEAR is not always a bad thing, it's all about how you look at it.
It's Moving Monday - Today we are focusing on our Bicep's. Easy, Easy, Easy. This movement is called 21's. Why is it called 21's? Because you will do 7 bicep curls in 3 positions in one set. Be sure your weight is heavy enough to add resistance but not too heavy that it compromises your form. Watch the video to see the proper technique.
